Ten Reasons Why I Wish To Discover Bhutan :
If you wish to uncover peaceful beauty with historical attractions among hills and valleys, then Bhutan is the country for you to voyage. It is a land of mysticism, filled with the grandeur of royalty and natural landscapes. Every tourist coming from any part of the world falls in love with its wild white peaks and decorative architecture. If you are willing to travel to this enchanting paradise in the next few months, then you must note down some important stuff.
Here is what you need to remember.
Since the rise and development of Bhutan occurred in the last 12 years, the number of tourists has increased. Its tourism destinations are welcoming people with a warm and amicable attitude. Tour guides and companies offer necessary safety guidelines to assure you of a happy adventure.
As for me, I am a globetrotter myself. I love to gorge down the natural beauties residing in the unknown parts of the world, and my next destination is beloved Bhutan.
Travelling to such far-off places needs you to browse important details about your destination. For example,
To arrange your flight tickets.
Obtaining permits from Bhutanese office.
Where you are likely to stay. (Hotels, holiday homes etc).
How are you going to arrange the sightseeing?
The best restaurants in your area you travel.
And lastly,
What is it that attracts you so much to explore that place?
If I tell about me, then it is the delectable food, the beautiful bronze sculpture of Lord Buddha and the mesmerizing landscape that make me want to set foot there for at least once in my life. To be honest, I am planning to go there solo and as a woman, I need to take certain precautions.
Bhutan has a high operating cost. Unless you are from countries like India, China, or Tibet, Bhutan will need you to spend bucks. Global tourists must take a note of its currency and keep enough amount of money as travel treks, hotel reservations and food can cost you a fortune.
THINGS NOT TO MISS IN BHUTAN WHILE WITH FAMILY:
. Tigers Nest Monastery Bhutan
Trekking and exploring the famous Tigers Nest known as the Takstang Monastery is a beautiful place where Guru Rimpoche was believed to have meditated in the 8th century. I saw the pictures of it online, and the trek was alluring. It had foggy clouds and a pleasant atmosphere. The trek is about two to four hours and a little tough without your trekking shoes. But what drew my attention, was the flutter of the prayer flags and the clatter of the prayer wheels while you march ahead. When you are finally standing at your destination, the beautiful Paro Valley will astound you. Deep at 1000 meters below your feet, it spreads its grandeur to the tourists.
The best time to visit Bhutan is from May to August. There would be a lot of rainfall, but the weather is not dangerous at all. You just need to find an experienced guide or a genuine travel company that fulfils all the safety guidelines and rules. I called some of the travel agents and received amicable and satisfactory replies. They explained their touring times, and how many people they take and what packages they offer. I figured that whether you are travelling with family or solo, the guides and tour companies of Bhutan would not disappoint you.
The Holy Place at Dochula Pass The Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Bhutans beauty is never-ending. As you take a short drive from Thimpu (the capital city of Bhutan), there is a climb of 3,100 meters taking you to the most spectacular places in the realm. The road at the Dochula Pass has several petition flags moving breezily in the winds and sending messages to people about peace and unity. The impressive mountain range is an unforgettable sight.
I think Bhutan is the place where nobody fights. Wherever we go or read anything about the country, it is always about the beauty filled with positivity. I slowly merged the idea that my trip would be worthwhile and memorable.
There is a mention of the Druk Wangyal Chortens, the battle memorial, the Stupas and the Druk Holy Wangyal Place. I cannot wait to explore that.
Buddha Point
Buddha Point is the place where you can find the bronze statue of Lord Buddha. It is built on a high mountain range and is seen from down the road. It is believed to be the tallest sculpture of the Lord in the whole world. The statue is decorated with gold and was constructed for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck.
Haa- Valley.
Valleys are for trekkers and explorers. The hike enthusiasts must embark on the well-known Haa Planters Path trek. The path is simple and clear-cut journey and does not include high altitudes. I saw people talking about it while coming back. It was indeed a noteworthy experience for them. There were social interactions with the locals and panoramic views from all sides.
For discovering the rhododendron forests blooming with bright colours, you must plan your trip from March to the end of June or the beginning of August. Its springtime so nature lovers will get the best of their lives.
