An Eye For An Art

When you are standing in the room with that painting in front of you nobody would care to make the relation of why you are looking at that piece or what is your relationship with that. It might be that you are allured by its smiling face, its mystique eyes or the whole scenery captured your soul.

What you are looking at is your choice and it's your understanding of it. You will keep on wondering. How is it painted and why is it painted and what is the emotion lying behind it?

These facts make a piece even more beautiful as you get to involve yourself in the subject.

For example, Do you know why the fingers of God and Adam do not touch in Michelangelo's famous work of art on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel of the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City? The finger of God is extended to the maximum, but the finger of Adam is with the last contracted phalanges.

This understanding of art is to explain that God is always there, but the decision is men. If a man wants to touch God he will need to stretch his finger, but by not stretching the finger, he can go his whole life without seeking it. "The last contracted phalanx of Adam's finger represents free will".

Then you walk ahead and look at another painting. Its size might be different, the subject or the colour and the atmosphere might be different and your reaction would vary.

Often the paintings that are exhibited are made by the same person. You move around looking at every picture. They might be in 15 or 50 that contain different essence and concepts.

You will gather a whole universe of modes, feelings, emotions, and curiosity. It's a plethora of emotions that cover your heart and mind. And when you come out of the Galleria you have a whole vineyard of stories entwined around those sculptures and paintings.

Art museums are a collection of stories. They are a beguiling combination of beauty, mystery, mysticism, mythology, and goriness. It depicts what humans envisage expect or go through their dreams and lifetime.

Artworks are created by artistic geniuses. Their ability to capture sentiments in paint is a testament to their greatness. Ever since I first saw their works, I have been enthralled by their amazing abilities to paint skin tones in portraits. The realism is fantastic.

It's different for everybody. You go with your friends and you look at a particular painting and all of you would gather different perspectives. Because of the period, the moments lingering in the artist's mind and the whole ambience is different from what you are experiencing at present.

It's that masterfulness of that person depicting exactly what his audience wants to see. In addition to adding the reality and his personal experiences, he/she enchants the audience with exquisite passionate beauty.

When you decide to go to the museums, you have a catalogue of what you want to see. Then you go inside and you witness your loved portraits that you were longing to see for ages. It's a magnificent experience to cherish the works through your own eyes. You enjoy it, you analyze it, you fret over it, you discuss it and you dig to the core of its making.

You try to contemplate the painting of every artist. You dissect it through your joviality or your criticism or by mere gaze. But either way, the painting gets a surgical procedure through your eyes.

Art is a description of all the elements living or dead in the universe. With a bit more personalization of the painter, it depicts a big Visage of thousands of emotions.
